New Prize for NSW Regional Schools

Regional prize - CopyTo supplement the wonderful prizes that our sponsor, Crayons, are providing for regional winners and their schools, we are pleased to announce an extra significant prize donated by the Paper Pilots.

Dylan Parker and James Norton, whose World Paper Plane Championship exploits inspired the hit Aussie movie Paper Planes, will make a special school visit, worth over $2250 to the NSW Regional School whose entries to the “Regional High Flyers” category of the Young Scientist Paper Plane Challenge are judged to be the most outstanding.

The judges are looking for the NSW Regional School whose video entries display wide school involvement (not just one class) and high level paper plane performance. Keep your videos short and make sure you have a close-up of each plane thrown and include footage of the nearby trees if the event is held outside. Entries are not being judged, in any way, on the quality of the video e.g. videos taken on phones are fine.

The Paper Pilots will make arrangements to visit the winning NSW regional school when they are next due to be in their locality.
